Pull the big handle and the stem expands to stretch the ring to make it larger.

This is a good choice for the busy shop, it's heavy duty and easy to use, yet it will fit comfortably on a table (though it's more comfortable to use if it's screwed down).

Three tips:

- it is generally not regarded as 'wise' to stretch or compress a ring by no more than 1 to 1.5 sizes, otherwise the ring could be damaged.

- take exceptional care with rings set with stones, the more you 'deform' the metal the greater the chance of stones falling out.

- please note the weight before buying, this is a heavy duty machine, not a handheld gadget.
